Fairyland

Today we split up to give Scott and Nate some quality time alone together.  That’s always an important element of Nate’s time with us.  We respect that he gets his dad’s undivided attention.  They want to a trampoline park and had a bounce war.

Flipping into Fun:  (Nate’s title)

Meanwhile, Auntie Ang, Grammie Denise and I took the little people to Fairyland… where storybook characters come to life.  Evie and Jack went on their first ferris wheel without an adult.  We saw an old school puppet show.  They played in a giant sandbox.  It was a perfect, sunny afternoon.  Then we drove home by way of UC Berkley and I think I fell in love little.  The campus and the town are charming.  We didn’t see any protestors but we did see couple of tent cities (which I hadn’t expected in the U.S.).
